Marcy Mignone
Creating art has always been a passion for me. It started as a child in Argentina with my art professor uncle, Osvaldo Saconi. He tutored me on all the fundamentals. Pencil sketch, charcoals, pastels, tempera, watercolor and finally oils. He even took me out plein aire painting all over Buenos Aires.
I also studied with a gifted teacher in Westalke Village, California, Michael Ward.
I draw my inspiration from nature. I am an avid gardener and love to paint my gardens. I have lived on the Central Coast of California for many years and recently relocated to Auburn and look forward to being inspired by the beauty of this area.
